  • Skateable Synthetic Ice: High-density, self-lubricating panels that allow for full-stride skating, stopping, and turning inside your home.

  • Professional Shooting Zones: Heavy-duty shooting tarps with target pockets, regulation-sized goals, and puck-rebounder systems.

  • Authentic Arena Aesthetics: Custom boards (dasher boards), kick strips, and even glass or netting to contain errant pucks and mimic the feel of the local rink.

  • Specialized Lighting & Mirrors: High-output LED lighting to track the puck and full-length mirrors to help players self-correct their shooting form and skating posture.

  • Custom Storage: Built-in stick racks, drying stations for gear, and benches for lacing up.

Step 2: Design & Pre-Construction

Our design team creates a layout that maximizes your square footage. We select the right grade of synthetic ice and containment systems, ensuring every detail—from wall protection to flooring transitions—is planned before we drive the first nail.

Step 3: Construction

Our construction team brings the arena to life. Your dedicated Project Manager keeps you updated daily, ensuring a clean, organized site and a final "walkthrough" that leaves you ready to lace up your skates.

If selected, we’ll reach out to schedule a site visit in March to measure up and get started on your design package!

Open to homeowners in the Region of Waterloo only. Applicants must be 18+ and the legal owner of the property.

This is a merit-based selection, not a random draw. 10 recipients will be selected at the sole discretion of the Catalyst Contracting team.

The Design Consultation Package has no cash value and cannot be exchanged or transferred. "Rough Order of Magnitude Estimate" provided is for budgetary planning purposes only and does not constitute a fixed-price contract.
