Main Floor Renovation with Load Bearing Wall Removal.

The challenge with many builder-grade homes is a layout that feels fragmented and restrictive. In this Waterloo home, that meant a confined kitchen that was walled off from the main living area. Our goal was to completely reimagine the space, creating the bright, open-concept feel the homeowners desired.

The transformation began by removing a key load-bearing wall. This single change unlocked the floor's potential and paved the way for a stunning main floor renovation. The new, expansive space now features a custom kitchen and dining area with a statement island, greatly increased storage, and continuous quartz countertops. We laid new flooring throughout to unify the living and kitchen areas and built a custom fireplace with floating shelves as a stunning focal point. The main floor update was completed with a full powder room refresh.

This project is a perfect example of how thoughtful design and skilled execution can transform a standard layout into a custom home that truly reflects its owners.
