Backsplit homes offer unique character, but their original, divided layouts can feel restrictive for a modern, busy family. The goal of this main floor renovation was to break free from that dated footprint, creating better flow and highly functional spaces for everyone.

The transformation began by removing several walls to merge the kitchen and living areas into one bright, open space. At the heart of it all is a fully custom kitchen, featuring an expansive island with ample seating that now acts as the new command center for family life. The project also included a complete bathroom overhaul, where we reimagined a tired layout to create a spa-like retreat with a spacious walk-in shower and elegant custom cabinetry.
