Hannah St, New Hamburg

Mudroom Renovation

Classic homes often have existing additions or utility spaces that are completely under utilized and structurally dated. For this New Hamburg property, the solution was a complete exterior and interior overhaul of their existing rear entryway to seamlessly integrate it with the original character of the yellow brick home. We transformed a tired footprint into a triple-purpose space that acts as a highly organized drop-zone a luxurious utility room, and a wet bar for entertaining!

The mudroom side features a sprawling wood bench, durable herringbone vinyl plank flooring, and custom cabinetry to corral the daily mess. In the laundry zone, we elevated the daily chores by integrating the laundry sink into a custom coffee and beverage station—complete with a built-in draft tap, beverage fridge, and textured tile backsplash. Finished with striking dark vertical siding on the exterior, this complete renovation proves that practical utility spaces can be some of the most beautiful and customized rooms in the house.
